What is a classical dance ? Ans.- A dance which is created or choreographed and performed according to the tenets of the NatyaShastra is called a classical dance.
Dance pure movement is called nritta interpretative in nature is called nritya
The four main schools of classical dancing in India are: Bharat Natyam Kathakali Manipuri Kathak
