  3. BUDGET Complete budget each semester. Needs to contain ALL estimated expenses. ABT and chapter approval. See handout for sample budget.

  4. RECORD KEEPING HOW: Quickbooks, excel, preferably electronically. WHAT: All financial records of the chapter. WHEN: Any time a transaction occurs.

  5. DUES COLLECTION - BYLAWS Include all details Promissory Note/Installment Note NO CASH! Monthly statements.

  6. IRS FORMS Fill out each year. Failure will result in fine. Handout in folder.

  7. COLLECTION AGENCY To utilize, these steps must be followed: Signed promissory note Documentation

  8. THIRD PARTY COMPANIES Small fee. Provides good benefits. Popular companies

  9. Delta Chi Costs Fall and spring membership dues: $55 Associate Member dues: $100 Initiation Dues: $205 Risk Management Assessment: $195 Chapter Assessment: $700

  10. AVOIDING EXTRA FEES Unauthorized initiation fee: $25 1% finance charge
