Surface Area- the sum of the area of all surfaces of a figure. • Formula- S= 2B+Ph Rectangle Prism
Lateral Faces • The Lateral Faces of a Prism are Parallelograms that connect to bases. The surface area S of a prism is twice the base area B plus the lateral area in the lateral area is the base perimeter P times the height.
Lateral Surface Area • The lateral surface of a cylinder is the curved surface. The surface area S of a cylinder is twice the base B plus the lateral area L. The lateral area is the base circumference 2 ∏r times the height.
