K-12 educators continually strive to foster a sense of community and promote lifelong learning. However, obstacles such as short class periods, standardized testing, and required curricula hinder these goals. Online collaborative learning environments, like Moodle, offer solutions by extending classroom learning, promoting peer collaboration, and enhancing the development of 21st-century skills. Despite safety concerns regarding technology use, structured environments with teacher oversight can mitigate risk. Moodle's versatility supports diverse educational needs across subjects, enriching the learning experience for students.
