Question 1 Question: When invited to dinner by a madrileño, you can expect: • Early Bird Special • Reservations at 11:00 • Appetizers at 1 a.m. • What the heck is a “madrileno”? Conversation (table in foreground): • Woman: Can you recommend a seafood dish and wine pairing. • Man: My personal favorite is the chiringuito seafood paella served with the Tapena Tempranillo. Fact: • Verdejo is Spain’s version of a Sauvignon Blanc • Quick tapas: Steamed mussels drizzled with vinaigrette and sprinkled with diced red, green and yellow bell peppers. Piropo (table of two): • Man: With that you show…plus that I imagine; I have enough. • Woman: (Blushing) Well, I though we might go out to a disconthéque later tonight. Animations: • Bartender pouring wine from bottle into glass; Man picking up and sipping wine; Woman eating food from plate
