Activities on level crossings in the last years „ Safe across“ • Common action „ Safe across“ of DB AG, German Automobile Association (ADAC) and DVR of 2002 - 2004 • comprehensive press campaign in 8 cities: Berlin, Warendorf, Mainz, Kiel, Halle, Braunschweig, Nürnberg and Frankfurt/M • Production of 1 million Flyers, enlightenment movie concerning correct behavior at level crossings for schools, driving schools, police, border control and others • New learning and testing documents for driving schools in cooperation with DB Deutsche Bahn AG, VS Safety

Activities on level crossings in the last years „ Safe across“ • Aim of the campaign • to sustain the downward trend in accidents at level crossings • Approach of the “sicher drüber” (“crossing safely”) enlightenment campaign • draws attention to the hazards of rail traffic • explains what relevant road signs mean • sets out the correct way to behave Deutsche Bahn AG, VS Safety

The project is now running for one year without accidents in Güstrow.
