  1. Your mom called. She said to clean that nasty room.

  2. Today’s Assignment • Think of the nastiest, most disgusting bedroom in all creation. • List out all the particulars. • Zoom in on all the gory details… the lime-green bowl of mildewed mustard and discarded bits of scorched corny dogs the damp pair of sweat socks, smoldering in the corner

  3. You want to be as descriptive as possible • You have 10 minutes to come up with the most disgusting room possible. A pair of dirty gym socks to the winner!!!

  4. Say it better than your neighbor • You have five minutes to share your ideas with your friends. See what details you can add to your list. You can not copy their ideas, only make new ones to add to your own.

  5. Say it in a poem format • Write out your details in line format, not as a paragraph. • No rhyming. I mean it.
