This project aims to develop a method for consensus in conservation planning to protect native animals and plants in their natural habitats. It focuses on conserving California native plants, increasing understanding and horticultural use of native plants using GIS measures. Drawing upon a formal negotiation model, the goal is to enhance biodiversity, engage diverse stakeholders, and establish a formal decision-making framework. Collaborators include Defenders of Wildlife, The Wilderness Society, and CA Native Plant Society.
