  2. How to Find Advocate • Go to www.denison.edu • go to mydenison (your personal login) • sign in with your username & password • Go to ‘Blackboard’ • Go to ‘Residential Life’ tab (on Rt) • Go to ‘advocate tab’ tab (on Lf) • Fill out and submit (there are options to save and work on later too)

  3. When to Use Advocate: • After writing someone up for a policy violation or a housing contract violation at any time during the year • Policy violation can lead to suspension, can go on academic record • Housing Contract violation related to housing • After completing RCRs if you find violations

  4. Why is it Important? • Reporting incidents (however minor) are extremely important • Physical reports on advocate allows the school to keep track of students • Eg. Past actions/behaviors that could explain more about a current incident (allows us to better help or reprimand students) • Eg. Useful evidence for later cases
