  2. RFID : Radio Frequency Identification A RFID communication system comprises of the following: • RFID Tag – integrated circuit - Read/Write Tags (SRF176) - Read only Tags • A reader( with an antenna) that generates an electromagnetic field

  3. The reader generates a low powered electromagnetic field around it. When a RFID tag comes within this field , its circuitry gets triggered and it generates a response. This response is in the form of a radio, microwave transmission or electromagnetic induction. The reader detects and interprets this tag information. How it all works:
