  2. FOOD • The true Malagache serves his meal, as is done in most parts of Africa, on a mat on the floor. Everything is put down at the same time but in the cities individual plates are used and the utensil is a large spoon (no knives or forks are used).

  3. RELIGIONS • The three major religions in Madagascar are traditional, Christian, and Islamic. The traditional religion is the African religion. 52% of Madagascar's people follow this second major religion is Christianity; 41% of the religion is Christianity and 7% is Islamic practices.

  4. LANGUAGES • The main language is Malagasy. • Other languages are French and English.

  5. Education • Every child must attend Pre school. From the age of 7. • Then it is there parents choice if they attend secondary school.
