  4. In CS Lab • All the PCs with IBM Rational Software Modeler version 7.5 • Start > All Programs > IBM Software Delivery Platform > Rational Software Modeler 7.5 > IBM Rational Software Modeler

  5. Launch Rational Software Modeler • Set the path for your project

  7. Create a new Project • File > New > Project

  8. Create a new UML Model • Choose UML Project

  9. Create a new UML Model • Type the project name

  30. Export as an Image file • File > Save As Image File (GIF, BMP, JPEG, etc.)

  33. Download • Login CS intranet • https://intranet.cs.hku.hk/csintranet/login.jsp • In “Download Center”, click “Software Download”

  34. Download • Login again • Click “IBM Academic Initiative”

  35. Download • Click “IBM Rational Software Modeler”

  36. Download • Click “I accept” for downloading the IBM Rational Software • Download a set of IBM Rational Software Modeler V7.5

  37. Install • Read the Installation Steps • Unzip the package files • Click launchpad.exe • Choose “English" in the language selection

  38. Install • Install the Rational Software Modeler

  39. Install • Refer to the installation guide if needed
