  6. Top Tip 4 • Number of marks • 2 marks: 2 points (identify question) • 4 marks: 2 points and describe/explain • 6 marks: 3 points and explain

  7. Top Tip 5 SWYS – add data/values 1st question of every topic = graph, map, image, cartoon etc. State the pattern and add specific values or name countries. State anomalies.

  8. Top Tip 6 • Scale: does the question ask for… • City, Country or Continent, Developed or Developing, • Rural or Urban • Local or National or International • Europe or North America

  14. Top Tip 11 Don’t leave blanks At least Guess! If you can’t remember – MAKE IT UP – you may pick up a mark or two = better than leaving a blank space

  15. Top Tip 12 Read back through your answers Correct mistakes – in the past too many people have talked about developing countries when the paper asks for a developed country = 0 marks
