  2. Blogs • A blog is a website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Typically on Zdnet you c an find bloggers blogging about whatever they feel needs to be addressed in modern life.

  3. Videos Zdnet is a great resource when searching for new tech-savy ways to stay up on things. They offer a variety of insight that is not typically offered through any other mainstream source today.

  4. White Papers • A white paper is an authoritative report or guide that often addresses problems and how to solve them. White papers are used to educate readers and help people make decisions. They are used in politics and business. They can also be a government report outlining policy. • Which keeps the citizens of America in-line with the decisions that are made that affect our lives.

  5. Downloads • On Zdnet, downloads range software downloads to mini-games. They offer all sorts of downloadable content for Mac and PC users.

  6. Review • A review is an evaluation of a publication, such as a movie, video game, musical composition, book, or a piece of hardware like a car, appliance, or computer. In addition to a critical statement, the review's author may assign the work a rating to indicate its relative merit.

  7. Podcasts • A podcast is a special type of RSS feed. It is a series of visual or sound which allows files which are distributed over the computer by syndicated download, through Web feeds, to portable media players and personal computers.

  8. Webcasts • A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology. A webcast may either be distributed live or on demand. The ability to webcast using cheap and accessible technology has allowed independent media to flourish.
