  2. Accomplishments • Increased Access to Services • Continuously Improved Quality of Services • Intensified Early Childhood Mental Health • Strengthened Prevention Services

Accomplishments: Access • Elementary School FCTs – 1,573 students (11.5% Increase) • Community-Based Treatment Service • Behavioral Health Services to Youth in DYRS Facilities (Approx. 150 each week) • Treatment Services – over 4,400 served (4.9% Increase) • Prevention Services – over 9,100 served (10% increase)

  4. Accomplishments: Access • Children served through our Crisis Service in 2013 2,049 • Students trained in Suicide Prevention 12,197 • Teachers trained in Suicide Prevention 4,250 • Children served through our Trauma unit attached to the Wilmington Police Department (CDCP) 206 children in 2013

  5. Accomplishments: Early Childhood Mental Health • Improved quality of treatment (through use of evidence-based practice PCIT as one example) Strengthened family partnership across the system.

  6. Accomplishments: Prevention Services • After School/Summer Prevention Programs -Suicide Prevention -Violence Prevention • Anti-Bullying • Youth/Leadership Development

  7. New enhancements • Expand the Behavioral Health Consultant Program in the Middle Schools • Psychiatric Consultations • Tele-psychiatry
