Regions of the Screen • Ribbon-style toolbar • Optional-use Costing Wizard that minimizes into the toolbar • Drawing pane that minimizes to the top right corner • Output pane with tabbed views and a large summary
Concepts to Recall • One document per window (no tabbed documents) • Inline tips, including a “blank slate” design, subtly teach the user as they go
Depicting Routing • The primary process group would have “primary level” specified under each major stage • Level sets which items appear white, connected by arrows, and right justified • All others, even substeps in the sequence steps, are outlines, just decorative around the main sequence Level 1 Level 2 Level 2 Level 2 Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 Level 4

Assembly DetailsNo Major Changes, But Revisit Column Spacing
Geometry and Manufacturing ProcessIndex Shows Assembly Routing and Part Routing
Change Inventory • DONE - Key Cost Drivers Screen for Machining and Injection Molding • DONE - Ability to reach a Top-10 list of GCDs sorted by manufactoring time (in Geometry tab, not KCDs) • DONE - Heat Map view usage that is more realistic • DONE - Make sure Key Cost Drivers tips are expandable • DONE - Ribbon toolbar icons (most) • DONE - Emphasize cost per unit more than total cost in the header • DONE - Bring back access to older versions in the form of a dropdown menu next to the part name. • DONE - Remove non-rectangular aspects of popup dialogs • DONE - Show the Part Details view • DONE - Find a location for the things that are in the icon menu for controlling the chart: Show GCD labels, Draw Direction, Turning Axes, etc. • DONE - Show a mode for dealing with assemblies & Decide whether to show process routing at the part level • DONE - Uncosted GCDs require acknowledgement before showing a cost, but then show the cost. Don't block as an error in all cases • DONE - When in a step of the wizard, teach where the same functions can be found in the toolbar later • DONE - Consider performance implications of doing incremental re-costing after each wizard step. Allow stoppage, or delay the start to a time when the user is not actively editing the next step in the wizard?
Additional Sample Data Required • Screen grabs and explanations of all critical menu items and icons that have not yet been represented • Contents of Wizard Prompts for Injection Molding • Additional recommendations or data for the Key Cost Drivers tab for Assemblies • A screen grab of the process routing for an Assembly and one of its parts • Discussion of whether toolbar options should be different for Assemblies or Comparisons
