  4. Highlights Collegiality: - working with nursing students and supervisors from other WA universities - working with Tanzanian nursing and medical staff

  5. Learning • Working in a very different clinical environment • Learning about major infectious diseases and their management – eg HIV, Malaria, TB

  6. Learning • Cultural awareness/safety • Rural practice – two days in rural clinics

  7. Challenges • Working in a very different environment (again)

  8. Challenges • Time limitations • Confronting experiences • Feeling like a medical /cultural tourist • Language But All challenges are learning opportunities and vice versa.
