Proposed changes • K-8: Predominantly clarification/rewording • HS: • Mean absolute deviation moved to high school • Clarification of standards language and terminology • Algebra and geometry standards discretely sorted • Sequencing of standards still under discussion; yet to be determined Coweta Committed to Student Success

SGAs and performance tasks • SGAs include the multiple choice test (the same one administered at the beginning of the term) and a performance task (PT). • PTs have a teacher key indicating the number of points for each correct response. • Score on PTs are to be converted to a 10-point scale using a conversion calculator (on the intranet). Supplies needed • OMG info (on shared drive with video how-to’s) • Folders – 3-prong with pockets • Paper – lightweight and colorful • Glue – glue sticks only • Scissors – classroom set • Heavy-duty hole punch (to punch holes in folders) • File box (to store extra copies of graphic organizer templates) Coweta Committed to Student Success

  16. Vocabulary sheets allow terms and examples to be recorded as they are introduced in class. Coweta Committed to Student Success
