  3. Ronld Reagan • He was a good friend of Thatcher • Thatcher even let him borrow her army base to him and the U.S. • When he died, it was one of the last time she got cought by the camera

  4. Falkland war • Argentina invaded Falkland in April 2 ,1982 • Thatcher first tried a diplomatic approch it failed • Thatcher force Argentina to give island • Then a short war happened • British lost 259 and Argentina lost 649 mens in the war • In June 14, 1982 Thatcher retoke the island

  5. Giving Back Hong Kong • In 1984, she gave back H.K. to China • She gave back H.K. to China because long ago, China gave H.K. to the U.K. for 100 years • She was a honost leader • She had a talk with teng xiao ping

  6. Later Life • She was also called The Iron Lady • Her last speech was in 2002 • She was Prime Minister until 1990(1979-1990) • She died in April 8 2013 • She held her office more than any leaders in the 20st century
