What is mass? • It is the amount of matter that makes something up • It does not change no matter where you are at • It is different than weight, because weight changes when gravity changes
How is mass measured? • Mass is measured in grams • 1gram= one tiny unit cube • 1kilogram= 1000 grams, or about 2 pounds (the size of a baseball bat)
