  1. CAR PARKING AS FROM JULY 2005

CURRENT POSITION • There are 340 marked spaces on main Campus • There are currently 98 spaces at Princes Gardens. • End June 2005, the spaces at Princes Gardens will no longer be available. • Project start date 4th July 2005 – end October 2007 • Therefore we need to reallocate all spaces w.e.f. 1st July 2005.

  3. PLEASE NOTE ! • Inevitably cannot accommodate everyone • Doing everything possible to reduce number of applicants for spaces required on main site e.g. Residents Parking for those living in Princes Gardens e.g. Reducing the number of contractors parking on site

  4. SPACES AVAILABLE • Total number of marked spaces on Campus 340 • Less spaces allocated as follows: • Visitors spaces 40 – booked via Web • Contractors Bay 32 – working on site • Portacabins 40 – equipment, canteens etc. • Project Bays 22 – swing space • Disabled Bays 13 – legal requirement • Unusable Bays 2 - (by RCM deliveries) • Gatehouse Use 2 – swing space • Residents Parking 3 – (out of Pay & Display) • Pay & Display 11

  5. RESULT • This leaves 175 spaces to be allocated across all Faculties, Departments, extra disabled bays, individuals etc.

  6. OBLIGATIONS • We are legally obliged to provide the following spaces: - 1851 Commission 1 space • Doctors/Dentist 7 spaces • Science Museum 1 space • Impact 5 spaces Total 14 spaces

  7. 162 SPACES AVAILABLE

  8. REALISTICALLY • Need to provide the following: • HQ 3 spaces • Corporate Affairs 3 spaces • Strategy/Planning 1 space • Research Services 1 space • IEAA 1 space • Wardens 2 spaces • HQ Hammersmith/St. Mary’s 2 spaces • Security/Post 6 spaces
