  3. What is KARMUN? • A Model of the United Nations • Was held in Budapest, Hungary • Students and Teachers organised it. • Groups were divided into different committees • Given a country, to represent

  4. Security council Human Rights Committee Environmental council Eco Social Committee Disarmament committee Crisis committee These committees can be :

  5. What were the preparations ? • A lot of Research • Meeting between Students • Make a resolution • Make an Opening Speech ( only some cases) • Wear Formal Clothing

  6. Transport and facilites • Night Train • Host families • The Parliament • Hosting School • Sight Seeing

  7. KAMUN, Day 1 • Choosing a resolution • The Parliament • Opening Speeches by the elected delegates

  8. Day 2 • Resolution and debates • Voting of the best Resolution • Making the Resolution better

  9. Day 3 • General Assembly. All committees join except for the ECOSOC • Debating the Resolution from all the committees • Prizes and speeches from the chairs • Goodbyes

  10. What did we learn ? • To be more confident, improve public speaking. • Organisation Skills. • The Hungarian Culture.
