EL PÁNCREAS • El páncreas es una glándula de secreción mixta • Podemos diferenciar entre la porción endocrina y la exocrina. • Por sus caracteres exteriores y por su estructura interna presenta la mayor analogía con las glándulas salivales, de ahí el nombre de glándula salival abdominal. • Debido a la doble función del páncreas, su fisiología puede dividirse en dos partes: la exocrina y la endocrina.
