Page Design: Keep the page design simple Stay within the margins; allow for white space on each slide Use the colors in the color palette provided Logotype: The Aon logo is located in the lower right corner in the template; its size and position should never be changed Shapes and Diagrams: Shapes and diagrams should be simple and geometric, such as rectangles, squares, circles, ovals, and diamonds; avoid using starbursts or abstract shapes Font and text formatting: Subheading is Arial 18 pt, black Bulleted text is Arial 14 pt Line spacing: 1.00 line spacing and .25 before paragraph spacing Capitalize first word and proper nouns in all bullet point positions No periods or colons at the end of a bullet If a single bullet must include two sentences, use a semi colon instead of a periodbetween sentences; do not use a period at the end of the bullet Avoid abbreviations such as “etc.” in bullet If the presentation will be viewed on screen, the minimum size for a font is 18 pt Minimum size in charts becomes 12 pt PowerPoint Guidelines Aon Hewitt’s PPT template was designed in keeping with the creative strategy underlying Aon’s visual identity. These guidelines will help you design your presentation in line with this strategy.
