Design • Base • Made of PVC Pipes • Weighted down by sand bags • Track • Clear plastic hose • Filled with blue water • Sealed off by valves • “Cart” • Ball bearing painted neon orange • Destination • PVC pipes taped to the floor
How it works • The ball is released at the top of the hose and continues down the tube until it reaches the end • Without the water, we tested it and it ran through in roughly 1.5 seconds • The water acts as a drag force to slow down the ball during the decent
