Report Format • Margins • All margins 1” • To change, Page Layout tab, Page Setup more button, Margins tab • Body spacing – Double-spacing (Ctrl 2); Remove space after paragraph (Be sure to change before you start typing anything) • Body font – Change font to size 12 • Title Block – Create at top left: Your Name Instructor Name Course Name Date Title of Report First line….

  3. Report Format (cont.) • Page Numbers – Insert tab, Page Numbers • Top of page • Right aligned (Plain Number 3) • Add your last name before the page number

  4. Bibliography/Works Cited page • New Page – Ctrl Enter • Always appears as the last page of the report • Title –centered; press Enter 1 time after title • Hanging Indent – select all entries; press Ctrl T See sample Bibliography (References) page on page 16

  5. Other References • Footnotes • Appear at the bottom of the page • References tab, Insert Footnote • Parenthetical References • Appear in parentheses at the end of the citation
