Web 2.0. WHAT IS WEB 2.0? How does it differ from Web 1.0?. Web 2.0 allows users to interact, share information, collaborate, and create their own contents. Web 1.0 only let users receive information but Web 2.0 allows users to comments and edit information.

  2. WHAT IS WEB 2.0? How does it differ from Web 1.0? • Web 2.0 allows users to interact, share information, collaborate, and create their own contents. • Web 1.0 only let users receive information but Web 2.0 allows users to comments and edit information.

  3. WHAT HARDWARE & SOFTWARE DO YOU NEED TO USE WEB 2.0? • Hardware : • Pc • Monitor • Keyboard • Router (internet connection) • Software: • Web browser • Aniti virus software • ISP (internet service provider)

  4. Web 2.0 includes many different web-based applications. What are they? • Digital media uploading sites • Social networking website • Wikis • Users can use the web-based applications to share (data, picture, music, video, etc.), connect with other people.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF WEB 2.0? • Web 2.0 let users search and connect with friends or people that you don’t know, it make it easier to join group that you are interested in, and also create/edit Wikis , create blogs. • The web change from static pages to interactive media because static pages only lets you receive the information but interactive media let you comment, tags and rate the information

  6. What are the possible drawbacks? • People may lost their ability for socialize. • May contain Viruses, spam and scams, Hackers. • It might not be secure if you put your personal information on the internet. Any one can read it. • People may be addicted • people who can’t use web 2.0 may not be able to connect with many other people, comments, join groups, and share information.
