  1. WELCOME Governor Daugaard’s Medicaid Opportunities & Challenges Task Force Meeting April 23 – 24, 2013

The goal of the Task Force is to develop a report for the Governor and Legislature that identifies a consensus position of the “pros” and “cons” of expanding Medicaid in South Dakota. • The second goal is to develop a consensus recommendation on how best to accomplish Medicaid Expansion IF the State decides to move forward with an expansion.

  3. The goal of the Task Force is NOT to provide a formal recommendation on whether South Dakota should move forward with the expansion.
