    4. Primary Use Chicken Ladder Scaffolding is used when working on a sloped surface or when a load is needed to be distributed evenly across a surface.

    7. OSHA Regulations 1921.452(m) Crawling boards shall extend from the roof peak to the eaves when used in connection with roof construction, repair, or maintenance. Crawling boards shall be secured to the roof by ridge hooks or by means that meet equivalent criteria (e.g., strength and durability).

    8. OSHA Regulations Subpart L Appendix A (m) Crawling boards shall be not less than 10 inches wide and 1 inch thick, with cleats having a minimum 1 x 1 1/2 inch cross-sectional area. The cleats shall be equal in length to the width of the board and spaced at equal intervals not to exceed 24 inches.

    9. OSHA Regulations Employees on a crawling board shall be protected by a personal fall arrest system, a guardrail system (with minimum 200 pound top rail capacity), or by a three-fourth inch (1.9 cm) diameter grab-line or equivalent handhold securely fastened beside each crawling board.
