  2. First,the female butterfly lays eggs on a host plant and the eggs are white.

  3. Next,the larva chews its way out of the egg and starts eating good food.

  4. Then,the caterpillar starts getting bigger and bigger.

  5. After that,the caterpillar makes a chrysalis on a tree.

  6. Finally,the chrysalis starts opening and a butterfly comes out and its wings are damp and then it starts flying. The butterfly goes and finds a mate and the female butterfly lays an egg and the life cycle starts again.
