  2. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear theLord and shun evil. • PROVERBS 3:7

  3. DISCOVERING TRUTH He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded. PROVERBS 13:13

  4. DISCOVERING TRUTH Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. PROVERBS 12:1

  5. DISCOVERING TRUTH Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse. Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you. Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. PROVERBS 9:7-9

  6. DISCOVERING TRUTH A wise son heeds his father’s instruction,but a mocker does not listen to rebuke. PROVERBS 13:1

  7. DISCOVERING TRUTH The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice. PROVERBS 12:15

  8. DISCOVERING TRUTH A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult. PROVERBS 12:16

  9. DISCOVERING TRUTH A mocker resents correction; he will not consult the wise. PROVERBS 15:12

  10. DISCOVERING TRUTH Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment. PROVERBS 18:1

  11. DISCOVERING TRUTH Whoever heeds life-giving correction will be at home among the wise. PROVERBS 15:31
