People who rely on their OWN GOOD WORKS to get to heaven, and those who TRUST in the finished work Christ – 4. People who rely on HUMAN MERIT for their salvation, and those who are rely on GOD’SGRACE.

Those who LOVE God and those who HATE God – PLEASENOTE - Both Cain and Abel were BORN SINNERS, for Eve’s womb, which makes them children of wrath – (Eph. 2:1-2) Both Cain and Able needed to be SAVED, but only ONE seen his need.

  10. GENESIS THE MURDER OF ABEL - (Gen. 4:8-15) GENESIS GENESIS It’s sad, but Cain DENIED his need for salvation and will suffer Divine consequences – (Rev. 20:11-15) WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO MEN? 1. Cain DENYED God's grace - 2. Abel RECEIVED God's grace -

  11. GENESIS THE MURDER OF ABEL - (Gen. 4:8-15) GENESIS ABEL BOWED HIS KNEE AND TRUSTED GOD Able placed his FAITH is a sacrificial substitute, pointing to Jesus Christ’s future sacrifice on the Cross, and he was accounted righteousness before God. 14. GENESIS THE MURDER OF ABEL - (Gen. 4:8-15) GENESIS ==== CAIN'S HORRIBLE MISTAKE ==== Gen 4:6-7 So the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?7 "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." Verse seven tell us that Cain REFUSED to comply with God’s divine threat. Cain made his choice just like people today, they refuse Jesus Christ, and will suffer the divine consequences for sin (Rom. 6:23)

  15. GENESIS THE MURDER OF ABEL - (Gen. 4:8-15) GENESIS ==== CAIN'S HORRIBLE MISTAKE ==== When Cain gave into sin, he was giving into Satan. He let SIN and SATAN take Him down the BROAD ROAD TO DISTRUCTION (Matt. 7:13-14) "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.14 "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
