SVU Major Issues • WORKFORCE ISSUES • Education/CMEs (online JVU) • Staffing shortages – Quality • Aging Workforce • Lack of degree programs (entry level) • Ergonomic Injuries • Need for more Externship locations for Students • Continues to support the passage of the CARE Bill • Federal and State Advocacy Issue • Active Advocacy Committee to address regulatory, legislative and reimbursement issues critical to the vascular ultrasound Profession • State Licensure
