INTRODUCTION WHAT IS WORK STUDY ????? • Work study is old as an industry itself. • It is the management technique that investigate all the factor effecting the efficiency and economy of the organization in order to make improvement. • Work study is the mean of enhancing the (productivity) of the firm by elimination of waste and unnecessary operations, reducing cost, standardized the method and time for doing a task etc

  4. TECHNIQUES OF WORK STUDY • There are two techniques of work study .. • METHOD STUDY. • WORK MEASUREMENT.

  5. METHOD STUDY • Method study is the systematic recording and critical examination of existing method and propose the way of doing work. STANDARD METHOD SYSTEMATIC RECORDING CRITICAL EXAMINATION Process charts, Diagrams, Therbligs Improved performance

  6. WORK MEASUREMENT Work measurement is the application of techniques designed to establishing the time. Breaking down the job into elements and find out the time of each element. Various techniques such as, ANALYTICAL ESTIMATION PMTS WORK SAMPLING TIME STUDY.
