  3. Pre-Testing • Fishers from 3 barangays (Pob.1, Pob.4 & Caramay) • Campaign Team

  4. LOGO • What does it show? • a lobster • a grouper • a dugong • fishnet • fish hook • Smiling animals • Looks like animals went inside the net

What does the message tell you? • these are the species that should be protected • The lobster and the grouper should only be caught using the right gears • Fishers should only use the right gears at the right place • What elements do you like about it? • everything in it is nice and looks happy • Overall logo is nice • What elements do you not like about it? Why/Why not? • The dugong should be out of the net • What do you think of when you see it? • Happy • We should protect these species • We should only use the allowed gears that is right mesh size and hook & line to catch them LOGO

  8. What kind of animal do you see? • GREEN GROUPER (LOBA) • it has the exact color of a green grouper • Is this animal important to you? Why/why not? • Yes, because it is important for our livelihood and is an economically important species (mahalibenta) • They have drawn the animal as if it were a person. What kind of person do you see? • Maganda; masayahin • What do you like or not like about this drawing of the animal? Why? • We like it because it looks happy; always smiling; mabait; wears a cap

What kind of animal do you see? • a lobster • It really looks like a lobster • The color is really that of a lobster (just make the lower part of the lobster greenish/brownish and enhance the tiger stripes/spots • Is this animal important to you? Why/why not? • yes, because it is also important to our livelihood; economically important/ pricey; we have plenty in Roxas • They have drawn the animal as if it were a person. What kind of person do you see? • Masaya; mabait • What do you like or not like about this drawing of the animal? Why? • We like because it looks happy; always smiling; has the right color and looks

Why/why not? • Yes, because they are already endangered (only few left); we need to protect them that they will increase in number • They have drawn the animal as if it were a person. What kind of person do you see? • Respectable; masaya; mabait • What do you like or not like about this drawing of the animal? Why? • Mabait; naka-damit at sumbrero; gustongprotektahan
