  2. Definitions • Stop Words • Removal of frequent words in the language that are not useful for discriminating between search results. User editable in all languages. • SmartSense • Emotion detection from text. Default dictionary availability is indicated. User editable dictionary available in all languages. • Spell Check • Used for “Did you mean” functionality as well as standard incident/Answer creation. User editable dictionary only in supported languages. • Stemmer • Reduces words to their base linguistic form: walks, walking, walked transform to “walk”. • NLP • Part of speech recognition for enhanced SmartSense (Western languages) or word segmentation (Asian languages in place of stemmers). • Synonyms • Default thesaurus for similar phrase searching.
