EMISSÕES AO AR As emissões ao ar de uma organização de poluentes como chumbo, mercúrio, compostos orgânicos voláteis (COVs), dióxido de enxofre (SO2), óxidos de nitrogênio (Nox), dioxinas, partículas e substâncias que esgotam o ozônio podem causar danos ambientais e de saúde que podem afetar homens e mulheres de forma diferente. Estas emissões podem vir diretamente das instalações de uma organização, ou serem causadas indiretamente pelo uso de seus produtos ou serviços ou pela geração da eletricidade que consome.
