Campus funded and planned by 2004-05 • $3 million in additional annual external funding by 2005-06

Asst., 7 post-docs, 1 grad. • Renovate 2 laboratories • Rent additional space • Greenhouse planned for construction 2003 • Consolidated operations • Working to transfer about $3.2 million in grants

College of Natural ResourcesFocus on Research • Forest Biomaterials – cont. • “House of Wood” - a research and demo. facility highlighting advanced wood products use in residential construction - WPS • Concept document in collaboration with other colleges completed 2003 –04 • $2 million in private gifts by 2004-05 • $500k annual additional external grants by 2005-06

College of Natural ResourcesFocus on Research • Forest Biomaterials – cont. • Forest Cooperatives for the Next Century - Forestry • Conduct review of current cooperatives & develop integrated plan 2003-04 • Expand forest biotechnology cooperative into multi-investigator, multi-concept program 2005-06 • $3 million in new external grants annually by 2005-06
