Design boxes for in-school competitions and outside donations. 2. Paint lunch designs in the cafeteria. 3. Design banners for huge events. 4. Monthly Theme Drawing Competition. 5. Sell works to the public.

  3. CALLIGRAP HY ◊Advisors: Sheikh Mohammed & Rahma Shata ◊ Grades: 5th & Up ◊ Meeting Time: Tuesdays 9th Period Plan for the Year: 1. Make the school more focused on Duaa’s , Ayat, and Ahadith by:-Painting the duaa’ before eating in both cafeterias, etc. 2. Having student competitions. 3. Designing the hallways with inspirational sayings. 4. Selling framed works to the public.

  4. D E B A T E Advisors: br. Abdul mutal Grades: 6th & Up Meeting Time: Mondays During lunch  Typically in a debate two teams are presented a resolution or topic that they will debate, and each team is given a set period of time to prepare an argument. Students typically don't know their debate subjects ahead of time. The goal is to come up with a good argument in a short amount of time. Students are encouraged to read about current events and controversial issues to prepare for debates.

  5. ENVIRONMENTALCLUB Advisors: BouhaithaYousef & HamnahSaeed Grades: 5th & Up Meeting Time: Thursdays , 9th Period Plan for the year: 1. Get the school official recycling bins to better the world and earn money. 2. Help cleaning nearby parks with Ummah in Focus members. 3. Make PowerPoints/Projects to teach the student body about certain environmental ideas. 4. Toy Drive

  6. H E A L T H Plan for the Year: 1. Dedicating a section of the hallway to student researches on certain topics like the benefits of certain fruits. 2. Work on PowerPoints/Projects to teach the student body about a certain health topic. 3. Throw events and invite speakers to come in and talk to students about universal health problems such as HIV/AIDS. Grades: 5th & Up Advisor: YasmeenZayedMeeting Time: Thursdays During Lunch

Work on changing the nature of the morning line up by following each day’s certain theme: MONDAY – “Ayah that Caught my Eyes, Heart, and Soul”TUESDAY – “Inspirational Quote”WEDNESDAY – “Islamic Trivia”THURSDAY – “Words of my Prophet”FRIDAY – “Tasbeeh on Our Prophet”
