  2. Text 1 oà namo bhagavate väsudeväya janmädy asya yato ’nvayäd itarataç cärtheñv abhijïaù svaräö tene brahma hådä ya ädi-kavaye muhyanti yat sürayaù tejo-väri-mådäà yathä vinimayo yatra tri-sargo ’måñä dhämnä svena sadä nirasta-kuhakaà satyaà paraà dhémahi

  3. Translation O my Lord, Çré Kåñëa, son of Vasudeva, O all-pervading Personality of Godhead, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. I meditate upon Lord Çré Kåñëa because He is the Absolute Truth and the primeval cause of all causes of the creation, sustenance and destruction of the manifested universes. He is directly and indirectly conscious of all manifestations, and He is independent because there is no other cause beyond Him. It is He only who first imparted the Vedic knowledge unto the heart of Brahmäjé, the original living being. By Him even the great sages and demigods are placed into illusion, as one is bewildered by the illusory representations of water seen in fire, or land seen on water. Only because of Him do the material universes, temporarily manifested by the reactions of the three modes of nature, appear factual, although they are unreal. I therefore meditate upon Him, Lord Çré Kåñëa, who is eternally existent in the transcendental abode, which is forever free from the illusory representations of the material world. I meditate upon Him, for He is the Absolute Truth.

  4. dhämnä svena sadä nirasta-kuhakaà “I therefore meditate upon Him, Lord Çré Kåñëa, who is eternally existent in the transcendental abode, which is forever free from the illusory repre-sentations of the material world.”

  5. Dham – residence for Lord • Where ever Krsna resides that becomes Dham. • Vrindavan – eternal Dham of Lord.Bhauma and Goloka Vrindavan. • Navadvip and Vrindavan non different. • But most essential is this body and mind as the Dham, • Lord is suppose to be living in Dham of our heart.

  6. Dham is free from illusion • We don’t have access to Spiritual world with our mundane senses and resources. • How can we confirm this statement? • Heart – which is transformed into Dham is the proof of this statement. • Devotees who see Krsna within their heart are always free from illusion.E.g. Prahlad Maharaja

  7. Illusions – cause of unhappiness • Death – makes everyone unhappy – is an illusion. • Sense of proprietorship – makes one unhappy with fear of loosing. • Sense of wel-wisher to others – makes one unhappy – not able to truly satisfy. • Sense of being enjoyer – makes on unhappy – senses are never satiated. • One who makes his heart as Dham – a residence of Lord Krsna – becomes free from all these illusions and thus becomes happy.

  8. Easiest way to invite Lord in our heart is by, Simply chanting Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
