  3. My Plan • Be available to students after school • Encourage students to use Minder Binder • Expect students to turn in completed work on time

  4. Curriculum • Metrics/Lab Skills • Physics: We use a quantitative, mathematically based approach similar to the procedures students will use in high school • Astronomy • Chemistry • Family Life

  5. Grading Policy • Based on total points • Neat and Complete

  6. Parent Communication • Progress Reports: Anytime (Aeries) • Email • Phone

  7. Homework • Homework extension of classroom activities • Due next day • Minder Binder

  8. Tutoring • Study Hall: Thursday from 3:15 to 3:55 • Come to: • Get Help • Make up work • Work on projects • Personal Conference

  9. Learning Environment • Follow McAuliffe Standards • Citizenship/Effort Grades

  10. How YOU Can Help • Ask for Minder Binder • Ask your children to explain what they have learned • Encourage organization • Make sure kids make up work if they are absent • Remember what you were like when you were their age
