Transition Timeline • Jan - District mails HS Info Booklets to Parents • Jan 18th - EHS 8th Grade Parent Info Night • Jan 25th - EHS 9th Grade Parent Info Night • Feb - Communicate HS Athletic Model • Feb 2nd - 10th - Evergreen Registration • Feb 23rd - March 9th - Eastlake Registration • March 1st - 9th - Inglewood Registration • End of March - Admin/Classified Staffing Models • May 25th- New Staff Joins HS Staffs • June - Student Focused Transition Activity

Course Information Humanities9th grade English and World Studies I will be an integrated block class. 10th grade English and World History II will be an integrated block or an English teacher and History teacher teaching the same 60 students. Science As a district, we are considering whether 9th graders should have the opportunity to skip Physical Science and take Biology.That decision will be forthcoming. Health and Fitness Eastlake will offer a year long Health and PE class for 9th graders. Students unable to take Health in their Freshman year will be able to meet this graduation requirement on-line. World Language Students in the Class 2016 will be required to have 2 years of World Language.

  8. Addition Highlights • March - Begin work in cafeteria • April - Begin new exit/entrance • New gym- Regulation court, seating for 120 • June 25th - Aug 20th - Library Bridge • Parking - Currently 820 with 10 ADA, will be 822 with 17 ADA
