  1. Die Brechung von Sonnenlicht Licht von der Sonne wird in der Luft polarisiert. Unter einem bestimmten Winkel kommt deshalb polarisiertes Licht in das Auge der Biene. Mit dieser Richtungsweisung orientiert sich die Biene. Sonne Luft Auge Durch einen vor das Kameraobjektiv gesetzten Analysator kann das sichtbar gemacht werden: Zuerst das Bild ohne Analysator (wie üblich), auf Tastendruck wird das zweite Bild überlagert (mit dunklem Hintergrund).
