  3. Люблю тебя, мой край родной, За величавость гор кавказских! Люблю всей детскою душой За волшебство легенд, за сказки, За разноцветные леса, Поля, бескрайные просторы! Здесь вод целебных чудеса, И, словно войны, здесь горы… Читаю о живой воде В таинственных, волшебных сказках, Но нет живительной нигде Воды целебнее кавказской! Люблю тебя, мой край родной! Край Ставропольский, край поэтов, Ты в моем сердце-часть земной, Единственной, живой планеты!

  7. THE CURSE OF OLD TEMBOT There is a cliff called the Castle of Perfidy and Love in the canyon of the river Alikonovka. Perhaps you have heard a legend about tragic events which happened here long, 1ong ago. Come to the bank of the river at dawn. Listen to the noise of the water, look at grass covered with dew. And you will somebody’s complaint.The legend tells us about a great love of Ali Konov and Dauta. The river Alikonovka keeps this secret.
