This project deconstructs music rhythms, pacing, and tempo to create animated representations of sound. By analyzing favorite soundtracks for distinct materials, we explore how sounds evoke emotions and natural phenomena, such as rain or thunder. Onomatopoeia serves as the foundation to abstract words, linking sensations to auditory experiences. The exploration includes unique vocabulary derived from musical instruments, merging sonic imagery with visual storytelling. Experience how emotions are encapsulated in sound waves, bringing life to animation.

Interpretation • The sounds are that of emotion and weather. • The “ti ta ti ta” bell sound is that of light rain falling or happiness that there is rain. • The “clop clip clirp” sound is that of heavier but slower drops falling after the rain stops, its in a hurry. • The steady piano of “pa” sound is how constant the weather can be as the tempo progresses. It is always there. • The “Thrim” is the spurts of lightling, quickly there then gone followed by the thunder of “vooom” which is big and takes over everyone’s attention.
