  4. Sheep have 24 molars and 8 incisors Sheep where first used for meat, skins, milk and wool. Today they are used for those purposes and many more

  5. Average temperature for a sheep is 102.5 F. Life expectancy of a sheep is 6 to 11 years

  6. The average respiration rate is 16 breaths per minute The average pulse rate for a sheep is 75 beats per minute

  7. The mature weight for a female ewe is 90 to 300lbs. The gestation period for ewes is 145 to 155 days

  8. Ewes cycle every 14 to 19 days during the breeding season The time for ovulation is 24 to 30 from the beginning of estrus

  9. Sheep can breed 1 to 2 times per year Mature weight for a ram is 150 to 450lbs
