THE CREATION OF THE PROJECT TEAM In line with the objective to create an effective recording and monitoring network of home office and field operations, we are creating a project team to carry out this task starting immediately. This group will work to address the long-standing issues in our Financial data, control and monitoring of requisitions and project development data including fine-tuning and integrating the UBI operational system so that manpower and equipment resources are fully maximized to achieve a better profit margin. Most importantly, this will allow management to make timely and informed decisions on critical issues. The Department Representatives should have a working knowledge of the flow of transactions within their department, record and report the needs and concerns of their respective offices during weekly meetings. They are also responsible to relay important project information and will assist in training the personnel within their workgroup. Team Head - EVP RAUL S. GONZALEZ Assistant Team Heads - EVELYN M. Each project member should attend weekly meetings and keep their own notes. We expect everyone to give their full cooperation to the Project Team so we can finally have a reliable financial data and an effective systems environment.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT This project is created to review the present UBI automated system (UBIAS) and introduce significant enhancements as well as create a system network which will incorporate all the data from the main office, field offices and satellite offices. We will develop an automated flow of requests and approvals to cover detailed items requested, proper recommendations and approval, accurate recording and tracking, and a reliable audit trail. We will implement improvements in our Accounting process to come up with accurate and timely reporting of important financial information to management. We will re-orient system users of the “What”, “How” and “Why” of their daily tasks for a better understanding of the flow of transactions and the risks and consequences of dereliction of duties. Lastly, we want everyone to get involved in this first team effort to do their share for the success and early realization of the purposes to which this team is created.
