  2. Comparatives Compare 2 things (nouns), with an adjective. These high heels are highER THAN these high heels.

  3. Comparatives Adjective + ER (short words) or MORE + adjective (long words) We use THAN between the two nouns we are describing. Example: I am olderthanyou.

  4. More examples Al Ain is more beautiful than Dubai. New Mexico is colder than the UAE. difficult easy

  5. Superlatives Talk about 1 thing (noun) over many others, using an adjective. These high heels are THEhighEST IN my closet.

  6. Superlatives THE + adjective + EST (short words) or THE MOST + adjective (long words) We use IN at the end of the sentence to tell us what group we are talking about. I am the tallest person in the classroom.
