Appropriate laptop use. Huntsville Middle School September 2013. Only use an HP Charger with your HP Laptop (Dell Chargers will not work). If you need to remove your battery, be sure to keep it clean. Don’t carry your laptop while it’s open. Don’t open the screen too far.

  2. Only use an HP Charger with your HP Laptop (Dell Chargers will not work)

  3. If you need to remove your battery, be sure to keep it clean

  4. Don’t carry your laptop while it’s open

  5. Don’t open the screen too far

  6. Don’t block the air vents, your laptop needs fresh air to work properly

  7. Don’t get the ports and connectors dirty

  8. Don’t carry your laptop with accessories still plugged in

  9. Don’t put pens or pencils on your keyboard

  10. If you forget and close your laptop it will crack your screen! We have already had several who have done this year!

  11. After class is over, slide your laptop into it’s case, and zip the case. Your case provides a lot of protection for your laptop.
