  3. Charity Status • Full status • Charitable aims are met by Trustees at all times

  4. BSPAR accounts • Current Account: • At 28 August was £152,232.01 in credit • A large proportion of this is to be paid to the Universities for the BECS contract work; further legal expenses due • Without the Pfizer monies, and minus any BECS contract work and donations etc. we were in an annual negative balance of £5,815.02. • Next year will include the BSR Admin support fee of £9000. • I feel we must consider an increase in the membership fees from 2013, or 2014 at the latest, to support our current level of expenses. at this stage. • I hope to receive a profit share from this meeting!

  5. Business Reserve Account • Balance £55,844.13 • To fulfil our charitable aims this money should be ‘put to work’.

  6. Membership • Currently stands at 302, with 7 recent applications awaiting receipt of standing order mandate form. • Assistance from BSR admin will allow a proper audit of the membership, adjustment of incorrect subscriptions for those wishing to continue as members • £3,240.00 apparent deficit in what we should receive.
